I was one for the first to purchase the iPod adapter for my 05 screw and now it will not recognize my iPod after month of happy use.... Anyone else having troubles? ANy suggestions???
Make sure the cable on the dock plugs into the ipod, and not just looks like it does. Does the ipod still work, my old ipod kinda stopped working and I had to hit the back or drop it on the floor to get it working again. Does itunes still see the ipod?
Same trouble here. I went thru 3 different modules and cables from BrandMotion without luck. Would work sometimes and other times it would not recognize the Ipod. I have satelite unit but not sure if that makes the difference. I returned mine for refund.

After the experience I had with Brandmotion after purchasing the connected truck package, I would avoid them like the plague!!!
My pioneer ipod cable stopped working for a while...i went to fry's electronics and picked up some electrical contact cleaner...viola it was back to new!
Sometimes mine won't recognize the iPod either. I've found that if I jump in and turn the key to start the truck it usually tells me the iPod isn't connected, but if I turn the key to 'run' and let it sit for a second then start the truck everything works fine. I don't know if it's a voltage issue since most electrical stuff gets cut off when you're cranking the engine or what, but that's how I keep mine working. Otherwise, it's turn the truck off, open the door then try it again.
