cold hesitation
when I first takeoff after a cold start, the truck sputters at 1/2 pedal or better and has backfired at times. It is an 05 with 5.4 and 64000 miles. The gas pedal also seems out of sinc and has a delay when pushed down. Is that normal for the fly by wire? I've never has a vehicle with fly by wire before

Mine has been doing the same thing almost sounds like a miss. Sometimes the check engine light will come on but then it goes right back out. I have scanned the computer and it comes up with nothing. I ended up cleaning the MAF and it seemed to be a little better still does it though. My next guess would be plugs and coil packs just don't wanna front the money and time to do it quite yet truck only has 42,000 on it.
