seat belt

anyone know how to get the seat belt to spring back better? Mine just flops aroundand get banged up when I try to close the dooor.... I took it apart fm the back but I can't figure it out.

I think that is one of those LIVE WITH IT things. I have to help mine go back up every time I unbuckle.

You can always replace the whole assembly for around $95. There are not serviceable. Ford does not want anyone messing with them.. It is a safety issue... But, they should put more tension on them for retracting, i agree.. It is easy installation... Just need a torx bit..
