Try ATV Connection Magazine's site and join the forum there. Sure there are a bunch of kids wanting to know how fast there atv will go or if one races his against another one...will he win.
But there are guys on there that will help you with your problem. One member is even a Honda mechanic.
Thats good because I didn't know they put primers on them,(what year is this) I try to keep up with motorcycle and quad technology but lost interest the last 3 years as I can't ride no more due to health reasons. The technology is changing so fast with fuel injection and computer controled engines in dirt bikes and quads these days that a few years is a lot of time LOL.
"I know a little about carbs........ but fuel injection may be best"

Reason: spelling
My 05 Rancher has a primer button on the carb but I have never had to use it. It also has a carb heater.
I run Seafoam through my fuel system twice a year, before winter and in the spring and I have yet to have a fuel problem.
On anothe note, I made two major mods to my Rancher....I changed the front drum brakes out to a disc system......and the best mod for last....I installed a Warn 424 unit so I can take it out of 4wd. Best mod by far!!

My '02 Foreman 450 didn't have a primer on the carb...
Anyways, I also had the High Lifter disc brake kit on the rear of mine. By far the best upgrade out there! If you think HL's pads are expensive, they are the same pads that Arctic Cat uses. I believe I used pads from a '00 Arctic Cat 500. Don't quote me on that thought...just take one of your old ones into a dealership and they can probably match them up. The AC pads were $20, wereas the HL pads were $38.
