Will it fit?
Will a 1989 van 302 engine fit onto my 1993 F-150 bell housing auto transmission.

Need to replace p/u engine and want to know if van engine will fit?

What engine would it be replacing?

If it's another 302, or a 351, should be fine. 460s and 300 used different bellhousings (I think).

yeah... straight six and big block have different housings. noticed that crawling through a junk yard the other day

I am replacing a 1993 302 out of my F-150 and replacing it with a 1989 302 engine...will it bolt up to the bell housing?

Yes, it will fit just fine, all small-block Windsor engines (302s and 351s) have the same transmission bolt pattern.
