08 expy wiring problem
I have been tring to wire up an outlet to plug in my Sirius Starmate that turns off when I open the door just like the radio does. My thought is to find the wire in the harness for the radio that does that, but I can't find the color code anywhere. I know someone here has done this HELP

I didn't 08 expedition wiring, but this F150 should be very close. Just confirm everything with a meter to be sure.
If you wanted to make the stock power point work with the radio, then pick up a relay. Cut the power wire on the power point, LT GRN/Ylw (switched) to 86, ground 85, 30 to the power point and 87 to the other side of the wire. Now, when the radio is on, the relay is tripped and the power point is hot. When the radio is deactivated, the power point is shut down.
