Just got home from a business meeting at the fire hall. I got talking with my assistant chief and we were trying to figure our game plan for bringing up the topic of getting a truck committee together to start working on a rescue truck.

In regards to the jaws, our current tool is about 16 years old and just does not seem to have the ooomph that is needed for todays vehicles with how they are built. The tool is also a combination one with the spreaders and cutters on the same unit. Makes it nice for not having to change tools, but is a PIA when you are trying to cut a post down low on a vehicle, or when you make your purchase cut in order to do a dash roll
