COE fender step

Hey guys, does anyone have a passenger side "mini" step for a '51 F-6 COE that they want to get rid of? My truck has the drivers side on it but the pass. side mini step is missing and my wife informed me that she would appreciate having one on her side as well.

I found the driver side ,I will have to rip my garage a part looking for the pass side.. do you have the battery box that part of the step.

I have had several COE trucks in the last few years .... and all the Fords of the 48-52 years used the battery box as the step. As far as I know, there was not a matching passenger side step shaped like the driver's side ever put on by Ford. It was just the battery box top. If you want a match, it will have to be a custom built one.

Sorry......

Maybe that explains why my truck doesn't have it. My battery has been relocated into a compartment in the tool box. The passenger side of my truck just has the lower step and what I thought was the mounting lip for a passenger side mini step. P3010005 pictures from trucks photos on webshots

Maybe that lip on the fender was for the original battery box lid?

Yup .... the lip is how the battery cover attached. I'm betting NumberDummy or others here may have a parts layout that shows all that.

Thanks for looking, I thought the pass. side had a mirror image step. I guess a previous owner somewhere down the line modified the pass. side. I will probably just go ahead and remove that little fender bracket and fill in holes. Of course I will have to explain this to the warden, er um I mean wife. Please wish me luck.
