Yes lol, the engine is in there. In some ways I am happy because I got some nice lift out of it, but in other ways, I wasnt planning on doing another lift any time soon. I think I will just add a temporary block in the rear to get it up, and over the summer I want to so a shackle reversal kit for the rear as well.

Anyone else get this much lift out of their ORU kit?

Which kit do you have, the 3" or the 5"? It makes sense that its higher in the front, since stock the rear only sits 1-2" higher than the front. A block in the rear, or an add-a-leaf might be a good temporary fix.

capn kirk -- ORU = Off Road Unlimited (they make the reverse shackle lift)

you CAN do a reverse shackle with the stock stuff. I would only advise this as a temporary thing though, until you can get the new stuff.

Just wondering, but wouldn't doing the reverse shackle on the rear be counter productive? I'd think you would have issues with axle wrap.

Possibly an Add-a-leaf with a lift shackle on the rear would bring your back up to give you a good stance, and still let you haul stuff.

I like the setup on the front. Looks good.

You got that right. Thats why I installed the kit in the first place, to fit some 33 or 35 inch tires. I am going with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs, and I already had my rims powder coated jet black to go along with the theme. I will be posting pictures when everything gets together in the the next week or so.

On a side note, say if I was going to just temporarily add a leaf or block, which of the two would be the least annoying/safest? I am leaning towards the AAL because atleast it will give me some extra pay load and stability being up the extra few inches.
