Diff question
Ok I drive 50 miles one way to school. I do this 3 times a week. Speeds are no less than 60mph. Right now when i average 60 mph, i get around 17-19 mpg. I know i can do better. I was able to get 23-25 mpg when i would do 55 mph with engine at 1500 rpm. I was thinking since i do all highway speed driving replace my 3.55 gears with some 3.08 or 3.00 gears. I drive a total of 30 miles a week on the streets. I dont do any towing(if i have to i can use my moms or dads trucks). I hardly carry anything in the bed. What is your guys/gals oppionion on doing this swap?
also i know that my low end is going to be considerably less. I dont drag race so i dont need it. Thanks for any and all help
