99 Lightning Grill
I purchased a billet grill for a 99 lightning. I want to paint the existing grill and lower grill before placing the billet grill over it. How do I get the grills off? I looked at it and it does not seem like an easy task. Any suggestions.

Bottom grille is straight-forward and just unscrews. The top grille is a tad harder, but really isn't that bad. You just have to remove some of those plastic push pin thingies and unscrew that bad boy and you're good to go. It's really intuitive once you start to remove it because you'll see where it's attached and how to get it loose.

It's been a looooooong time since I removed my grilles to put in the '01 grille, but IIRC, the hardest part is fitting a flat blade screwdriver between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the grille to get to the plastic push pin thingies without scratching the bumper.
