The VSS (or ABS sensor if you go to Napa) is located on the top of the rear axle. Symptoms of failure is speedometer working erratically, ABS light coming on, or having to turn the ignition off and restart to get the speedometer to work.
It takes about 10 minutes to change it out and mine was about 15 bucks at Napa.
