Dang I hate guys like him, they give us young guns a bad name
I do like the line of "you get to hook the chain where ever you want", I would beat everyone but ATC with his deuce and a half, cuz I would hook it to my gooseneck ball, cuz the real secret to tug-o-war is who has the highest chain spot.
Yes I've done tug of wars and I have two secrets: stomp on the brakes, let them break traction then give a yank, but it has nothing to do who has the most power, I bet a 4 banger with would do better cuz it wouldn't want to spin the tires near as much.
Look up the Bronco II pulling the Dodge Ram on youtube like someone said earlier. It proves nothing. People are stupid! Every little thing could come into play. Truck height, weight, wheelbase. It doesnt make sense. Oh and how is it dangerous????? If this guy thinks thats dangerous then I dont know what to say!
What would your woman think of you if you were afraid to enter a tug-a-war contest?
My "woman"(wife) thinks stuff like tug-a-wars with vehicles, be it a truck or atv....is just plain stupid...and I agree with her.
But then again, we are past the age of 50 and have learned quite a bit over the years.
I've done it tug and hill climbs. The hill climbs with snowmachines are much more fun unless you start a avalanche.
Yeah lets see the last time I did a tug of war it was 4am, Friday night, I was in highschool, middle of a corn field, ...don't remember a whole lot except having to go back the next day to get my truck becasue I buried it to the axles and couldn't figure out how to get it out.
