I added a 100 horse chip to my truck, and when I flip it on, the tranny slips when I get on it very hard. Is there anything I can do to fix / prevent this? When the chip is in the stock position, I have firm shifts like normal.
Inline modules are the hardest of all the "chips" out there for the 6.0. You really need to get a tuner, either Matt's new tuner or an SCT. The days of being able to really just throwing a "chip" on it and forget about it are gone.
Best advice for maintaining your tranny is to just remove it and either leave it stock or get an one of the two tuners listed above. If not, pretty soon you'll be kissing your intermediate clutch pack good bye(weakest link of the torqshift). Might take a while, but you'll get there.
