2002 4X4 MOD5 removal

I'm trying to get the transmission out of an 2002 F150 4x4 for a clutch job. Right now, it doesn't seem like there is any easy solution to getting the top of the shifter tower to clear the floor pan. I've put a little pressure on engine block in front of the mounts to angle the drive line downwards, but it won't buy enough room to clear the floor and let the trans slide out. Anyone out there done this job?

I have not done this specific year, but usually if the stick and the stub shaft are removed from the top of the tranny then there is enough room to get it out.

2002 MOD5 4x4 removal

Upper and lower shift levels have been removed. It's the upper case casting (that houses the lower shift lever stub) that won't clear.
