F450 Problem
While driving my truck this morning a problem occured. Anything over 1/4 throttle or ~ 2500 RPM and it acts like it has hit the rev limiter. It starts up/idles normal and has normal power/acceleration unless you press the throttle more than ~ 1/4 way or exceed ~ 2500 RPM.
I was not really thinking it could be bad fuel because I filled up early in the morning and put about 35 miles on it before I had the issues above. There was less than 1/4tank when I filled it up so most of the fuel I drove the 35 miles on was bought this morning. There was another guy at the dealer with me with a 6.4L and had identical problems and he stated his seperator had water in it. I checked mine and had almost no water (no warning lights on dash except the check engine light).
Any help will be greatly appreciated. The truck is at a local Ford dealer now but this is really bothering me and would like any information. Thanks in advance for your help!
Jeff
