I learned a very important newly wed lesson this week.
Background: I'm looking into buying gauges and a SCT tuner. Wife finally gave the ok to get these. I started shopping around to get the best price ect. A week later she comes back and says "Well maybe you should wait to get that stuff until we get a few things for the babies room" (we just found out a month ago that we were successful in putting a bun in the oven).
Lesson: As soon as the wife said yes I should have ordered the stuff and possibly spent the extra $100! Sure i could have saved $100 but no I have to wait a few more months for the damn mods! Learn from my mistake....Have products in a shopping card with cc number entered and when she says yes click submit!
I've always found petty cash that is unknown is the best way.... Should have "spent the money." Then looked... That's how I get my toys with out her knowing.. I'm saving currently for the headstuds and egr delete that makes no sense to her but I think I need

Its great to have a combined account....Just not when you wanna spend some "you" money and you have to account for it aka strip club, gambling, truck, etc lol She doesnt care if i go to the strip club just doesnt want me to spend money there haha
Heres another one I use- Better to beg for forgiveness than permission. When the stuff shows up in the mailbox, sure you might have to listen to it for a bit, but it's worth it! Like when the 37's showed up at the garage door from the delivery truck. But honey I couldn't pass this deal up- they were on sale!! I saved @ $120 per tire( true story). You'll catch on. Anyone else have some tips for this newlywed?

Thats what my dad does too! lol But I wouldn't want her to start doing the same thing at a store she frequents.....dont wanna open up that can of worms (as in rediculously priced furniture that she got a "good" deal on)
My net venture is to straight pipe the truck when she isn't around..... If she throws a fit or if I get a ticket for it... Guess we will have to get a new exaust.... Well see how that works don't want to dip into the studs fund just yet

just put a big f $%#in hole in ur exhaust and say "well hun I have to get it fixed now, do you hear how terrible that sounds!" Great way to mask a purchase of an after market product....make it look or sound terrible I can't really do that for a tuner and gauges though unless anyone has creative ideas lol
