Slow power windows

2001 F250 XLT crewcab. I had a question from a friend on this subject. The power windows are very slow to operate and will even kick the mini-breaker. After the mini-breaker resets same problem. I was thinking a power wire must be chafed through somewhere. Any one have similar problems or found the problem?

The problem is not the wiring....its in the felt track that the window rides in.
Ford makes a window track lubricant that you can put on it, but i always use
dry spray lubricant.

I suspect that cold weather might have something to do with this then. The truck is Inuvik NWT Canada where it is pretty cold. Thanks for the response. I am expecting to hear from my friend later tonight and will pass along your suggestion. Travis
