Seems like lately there has been a rash of killings. They had 8 killed at a nursing home on Sunday. Doesn't make sense to do these things, but I guess if you are capable of doing them then you aren't making sense with yourself anyway.

"The family is a solid family. Both parents worked; good kids. Completely makes no sense,"

Not ALL the kids were "good kids" obviously....

It's a shame that something like this has to happen to anyone, let alone a 5 year old.
As for Kerby, good riddance.

Just as good things happen daily thru God we need to remember that satan gets to play too. This is a tragedy. I know these girls are in a most peaceful place but feel they deserved to have that here on earth.

How does one get to this point? I know that we will see a lot more craziness with the economy, people losing homes, jobs etc but this had nothing to do with that. He was a weak person and chose to act out on innocence for whatever reason he had flittering about in his head. I cannot even imagine what this family is going thru nor do I want to try but I am just able to find some peace in it knowing he is gone and I do not have to help support his good for nothing butt in a prison or mental institution.

I wonder how much of this recent rise is monstrous stories is an actually rise, or just a rise in sensational news reports looking to make a buck off of the shock attack.

Sorry if I sound, uncaring, I really do care, but I hate how the News media makes money off of everyone elses misfortune. Kinda like the Caylee Anthony story they played for months, yes it is a truely horrific story, but kids get killed by whacko parents all the time (not that it makes it any better), but this one was so bizarre, it caught attention and the news played it like a fiddle.

This story is truely horrific, it sadens me to know that people can commit such acts. I can *understand* a few of the cases where people have snapped and gone on a killing spree, but this one, how can anyone even think about killing a 5 year old, especially that brutaly.

My prayers go out to the family and anyone who knew them.

Another thing, (I am NOT blaming anyone but the killer), but surely there were some kind of signs before he snapped. Hopefully, some good can come of this story and we will now start watching each other for signs of something bad happening and can intervene and help keep this kind of thing happening again.
