I just did this last night, and yes it is as easy as it looks. It was a little easier becasue the hausfrau did the wheel lock to lock/brake pump while I kept teh pump full. I flushed mine last summer and was disappointed at the immediate results. I still had a bad whine in the pump, but after a month or so with the new fluid the whine got less and less. Now I barely notice it.
Don't be discouraged if you don't get results right away, if you use a good synthetic ATF it should clear up eventually.
