Hi to all !
This is a great place to find all the info for a new project.
My son and I just pulled a 47 1/2 ton out of storage at our shop. My grand father bought it in 46 or 47 after the war. It was used in the family plumbing business untill the early 70's. I freshened it up then for parade duty by my grandfather. It is a 6cyl 4speed.
We are Mustang guys, but anything Ford works for us. On our farm we have N tractors, 2000 tractors, Ford Backhoes etc.
It seems that the old pickup would be great to have running around. We have a 289 Hipo from a 66 Mustang with a C-4 trans. It seems a natural to replace the 6.
Does any one have any thoughts?
