The only problem i see with taking keys it that there is gonna be a lot of Ford keys in there and it might be hard to tell whos keys belongs to who, we might be taking someone elses rig home!!

Many years ago I had a "friend" stop by on his motorcycle as he was showing an out of state biker around and I offered them a beer. After a while he asked for another and I told him "no John you are riding" He got mad and took off, leaving the other guy with no idea where he was. He took off trying to catch John and proceeded to do a head first into a tree. He wasnt hurt bad but he was arrested for DUI. Me and another friend tracked John down and asked him if he new where the other rider was and he said he didnt care. I care, I dont want anyone leaving intoxicated, only happy.

Sounds like your buddy John and his friend could use one of those twelve step programs

They arrested a guy from around here for a hit and run in Philly the other night, he hit the guy so hard his arms and legs popped off. He was intoxicated.

About twelve years ago my daughter and her boyfriend where chatting with their friends outside of the high school when a women who was coked up and drinking hit the other friends truck. The truck hit the owner and cut him in half. She had a history of driving under the influence, she was upset her vehicle was damaged and she had to do minimal jail time. No remorse for the taking of a young mans life.

Some people never learn. I have no sympathy for anyone arrested for DUI, they should know better.

Pat...so what time is the shindig getting started? I'll be stag this weekend, as my wife is going back to NEPA for her daughter's 18th birthday. I don't see me getting down that way until at least 6:00 PM; just wanna make sure I'm not the first one there!

And I'll be bringing my truck, POS that it is...weather hasn't been any good for bodywork the past week an a half...

Pat

How's it working out Pat? I really wish i could have gotten there. I was just on the phone with my brother in Johnstown and told him we cold have went to your place together if something hadn't come up. He's on the site now signing upb as a member and then he's going to sign up in the chapter. When he's not over the road he can hang out with some of the guys up that way. I've been trying to get Altoona Joe(see joke thread) to sign up, he has a really nice Harley Edition and he's just a downright nice guy. He may have signed up under a different name and is staying incognito(he has a great sense of humor)
Next time I'm up that way I'll make it a point to stop at your place.

Larry...long time no chat! Sorry to hear about your health problems. Get well soon...breathing is kinda important!

Joe...was looking forward to meeting you. Oh, well...maybe next time! Definitely send your brother up out of the Big Toilet and our way.

Finally, Pat...thanks for hosting the party! Lotsa nice trucks, and lotsa nice people! Enjoyed meeting everyone...seems like it's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to just relax and talk gearhead to a bunch of good ol' boys!

Hope to do it again soon...
Pat

Sounds like it was a good time. Good to hear. By the time I was available to roll over to that side of the hill, it was kind of late and I wasn't sure if anyone would still have been there hanging around. Maybe next time.

The rest of us will be looking for those pictures you told me about Pat.

I told my brother to take a ride over but he thought it was to late(about 7pm), I didn't think it would end to early. I'm really sorry I missed it, I'm always looking for a good excuse to go somewhere.

This week is another hectic one, parties for different grandchildren, my second daughters graduation with her nursing degree and what ever else my wife tells me I have to do. I know she's planning a picnic/B-B-Q for memorial day and I'm not even a little bit ready.

She had me take the ladder out so I can hang the flags and bunting along the roof line, replace all of the outside bulbs, go pick up a load of mulch and anything else she thinks of.

I'm a little nervous with the climbing after the hip and neck surgeries. I've climbed my whole life and now I'm nervous, hopefully I'll get it done, if not, I'll get one of my boys or son in laws to do it.
