Newbie towing question

Hey all, I just recently purchased a 1988 Bronco. My problem is, I need to tow it from where it is to my house. ( no registration on it) Heres my question... Will it be safe to tow this truck (on a dolly) with a 1994 F150, 302, 2wd, auto? I do not have a receiver hitch so I will need to hook the dolly to the bumber mount. Is this safe? I am only going 25 miles with it. All inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is not safe to pull that much weight with a step bumper. Here are a couple of options: (1) put the F-Series plate on the Bronco and drive it, (2) hook long strap between the two and have somebody you trust drive the Bronco close behind using CB or hand held radios to plan stops and turns (3) find a friend with a frame mounted hitch on their truck to pull the Bronco, or(4) register the Bronco and get a plate. Personally, I have used option #1 lots of time without any problems.

Thanks for the advice guys. I wish I could just wait for the plates, but they are coming from MA, and I am in MD. So I think I will swap the plates. Thanks again.
