Odometer just stopped....

My '97 Expedition EB has about 26thou miles before the odometer stopped turning.........what could have caused it to stop all of a sudden? Is there a DIY fix for the odometer?

There is a replaceable electric motor that could be the problem. You have to remove the instrument cluster to access it.

Maybe I should just have it fixed when I finally decide to sell the truck...

Seriously, I'll try to remove the cluster this weekend and see what I can do to that small motor....thanks again guys...
