The snow, that is. Actually I was hoping to "tear it up" a bit so it'll melt faster out beside the garage, so I can park my F-250 there and put the 94 in the garage for the core support swap and body lift install, along with some undercoating and more rust repair.....
So here I am stuck.....
All the heavy wet snow plowed up by the front end....I need more lift and bigger tires!!
And I blame the spotter and his big-brimmed hat....
A few times backing up to get a longer run, trying not to dig up the neighbors lawn underneath.....
And after a few minutes shoveling, I made it out back, turned around, and am free!!
were you doing this in 4 wheel drive? The truck doesn't look that stuck, what kind of tires are you running? Or didn't you just want to gas it up and get unstuck? my 95 with 33" bfg a/t tires does good in snow like that, never been stuck in snow.
Well with the nice 40 and 50 degree weather, then below freezing nights, the snow is more like little tiny ice *****, like a Slurpee without the color or flavor
I had it in lo-range 4x, but with open diffs, and a complete rotation of the tire would clean out the "snow" and leave me spinning on the packed ice underneath. My forward runs were in 2nd gear till I stopped, then I would back up and try again. I didn't hammer it too hard, since I have a loose u-joint on the front driveshaft.
And a side note, I just noticed in the first pic, the body is twisted away from the frame (notice bumper gap).....the core support is rotted all around the mount, supporting nothing, so I guess the fenders are holding the grill and stuff up
