how much weight do you think a 71 f250 with dana 60, 4:10 gears,35 inch tires and a mildly built 360 can pull for trailer weight? Thanks

We usually discuss the safe rated weight of highway vehicles in this forum. Discussion of off road pulling contests is fine, as long as you make that distinction. Excess loads in off road contests don't endanger other drivers. The only consequences may be equipment failure.

I would say that with a 10,000 pound sled and 300 feet as a "Full Pull", your truck will get 149.62 feet down the track. I will have to double check my calculations to be sure, but that seems about right.

Oh wait, was that on packed clay or dry dirt? I guess back to the old drawing board!
