More problems

After I washed my engine the truck would start and run ok for about 5 sec then it would start to run rough like it was missing. I unplugged most of the connectors on top of the engine and let them dry out. The ICP sensor did have some moisture in it. I dried everything out and now I have evereything back together and the truck will not start. It will crank but won't fire. I thought I found the problem now its worse.

any time you have moisture you should use a can of electrical and sensor cleaner and spry them out..I go another step further and get electrical grease and put a dab in every plug so I don't have this problem the next time I power wash my motor..it gets power washed twice year and my truck always fires right up...sounds like something didn't get plugged in or got crossed.. IPR and ICP maybe?? could have also blown a fues... did you clean and dry around the CPS ??

I unplugged my ICP sensor and it started up and seemed to be fine except the SES light was on and I have a p1280 code (ICP low). I'm guessing the water that got in there fried it. Should I get a new ICP? Also if I have it running with the ICP unplugged is it going to hurt anything to switch tunes?

Do you have any electrical contact cleaner? Comes in an aerosol can. Try cleaning the connector, or at least make sure the pins look clean with no signs of corrosion. If you plug the ICP sensor back in with the truck running does it die? It probably won't happen instantly. Seems like it takes the PCM a couple of minutes to figure out the sensor is working again.
