Haven't seen or heard of any failing around the KC area. In my hometown of Nevada Guthrie (chevy, gmc) is going out of business. A few years to soon in my opinion. Well know for selling junkers. Also the chevy dealer in Lamar is going out also.
We lost our good Ford dealer the day after the election, there since 1921.....gone now.
Now the only one left is one of those infamous, Ford/ GMC/Chrysler/Mercury/Subaru/Dodge trucks/toyota/Hummer/Lexus/ Lincoln/honda/Jeep dealers.........You cant get good service there, you cant even find a competent parts guy there.......Their only priority is sales.
The only dealers Ive seen close recently along my regular routes of travel are a small Buick-GMC-Pontiac that wasnt much good anyway and a big Nissan right next door to a big Honda dealer.
Harbor Chevrolet near work is building an adjacent Hyundai store. Cormier Chevrolet, also in Long Beach, did the same thing several years ago. Pacific Ford may be in trouble if Ford drops Mercury and Mazda, as they recently built new LM and Mazda showrooms.
