New radiator support?
My radiator support is crumbling, and all of those I have found in junkyards around here aren't much better.
Has anyone had occasion to buy a new aftermarket radiator support for one of these trucks? If so, were you pleased with the quality or should I keep looking in junkyards? I've noticed that quite a few reproduction items don't get very good reviews on here.
Can you even get the whole thing new? Please advise.

Yeah, I'm looking at every '73-'79 I can find. For some reason there's a whole bunch of 300s and 302s with the smaller center cutout that are in great shape, but all of the big cutouts are rusted to *@&#.
I'm going to look at a '77 tomorrow. Depending on the shape it's in, I may have another truck for body parts. Don't know if that will include a radiator support, but at least I may have a better cab/bed.
I know that BOTP has a new big hole support for about $200 including shipping, but if it isn't going to last, I ain't paying that much!

Thanks so much for all of the advice, you guys.
Being that I can't afford to have my truck sitting apart and idle, I went ahead and ordered a new support from Blue Oval, and that cannot be cancelled now...even though I am seeing in another thread that several folks had good supports that were a bit closer to me. I'm expecting shipping from CA to NC to be ridiculous and take awhile.
