'56 for towing?
i have a '56 f100 that i want to use for towing my 20 ft tandem axled terry camp trailer. i will be using a 460 as the work horse, a c6 trans, converting the front drums to disc, and am wondering about the rear suspension. would adding some type of air bag between the leafs and the frame be the way to go, or should i do some sort of modification to the leafs such as adding more than what is currently being used? i currently have a ford 9 inch rear end if that makes any difference. it seems that adding sway bars would be a good idea as well. i also plan on welding on a receiver hitch.
