Oh yeah I think I will keep using him if I decide to stroke this motor in a year or two. He has kept me informed, gave me a good deal, not cut any corners plus he put my headers on for free. Just this one hiccup, I have a extra 4wd Aod as a backup so I’m not out anything but a little time.

I use google and type in specific name (e.g. shorty headers:fte.com) and page after page, this is easier than the search functon

Update on my 5.0 to 5.8 swap. My mechanic did the swap and the aod transmission was rebuilt and the 5.8 tuned. Everything is awesome, shifts good and runs really well. I’m impressed with the response the 5.8 and aod have versus the old setup. I only paid for the motor swap and he covered everything else. My only issue is the headers don’t leave much room since they are close to the shifter so I rigged up dual super 10’s turn downs till I get it to the muffler shop. Thanks to everyone who gave the helpful information!
