So I'm filling up with fuel and a kid yes I'm under 30 but he seemed like 18-20 though pulled up in a 7.3 psd super and was talking all about his bully dog and how his truck was super fast etc. He then shifted topics to all the problems the 6.0 has and how I shoulda bout a 7.3 if I wanted a real diesel. He then started asking me about the attitude monitor I had in my truck and I said I didn't like the way it made my truck shift so I unhooked it. (I have am running spartan ase tunes used the attitude for gauges till this last weekend) so I was thinking with this cocky attitude I'd ask just how super fast his truck was which got me a it out runs gt mustangs all day long and should run somewhere around a 13 second quater if he ever gets it to the track. So thinking to my self nothing short of rocket fuel and a jet turbine was going to make a bully dog truck run that fast least not a 7.3 I said dang let's line them up and see how much faster that thing is than my 6.0...........
I walked the dog. With a very very long leash ..... next intersection he found out what he never asked... Sct kicks ___ probably wouldn't have lost by much if I was totally stock..

i love it. nothing irritates me more then a person like that. believe me, i've owned 3 GT mustangs (92, 97, 02) they are about mid to low 14 quarter times. nothing impressive but fun. most guys who act like that really don't have anything.

I had to run into town for parts today so I took the truck, been awhile since I drove it this winter. I stopped by the local station to grab a few things and got the hairy eyeball from a Dodge owner with a pretty chrome stack...... I know he was just itching to impress me, those flames on the tailgate will really stir up ones curiosity.

To be continued if I run into him again on the street.

that is classic! it's funny how 7.3 owners have a tendency to think they are better than the 6ohs in every way shape or form. that is until they get a cab full of smoke
