Head Identification

I'm looking for a little help decoding a set of ford heads I was given. The guy who was clearing out his shop claims that they are 390 GT heads, however from reading this and other forums the numbers don't seem to match. The only numbers on these heads are 2143 575, no letters, no frost plugs on the ends. I came across one furom that stated that they maybe Edsel heads from 1959, are they any good or just scrap metal. I have a buddy who is rebuilding his early 60's Galaxie convertable 390 who is interested in them and I don't want to sell him something it's not.

Numbers and letter between the center spark plugs otherwise they are not FE heads.

NumbersDummy will know....he always knows!! lol As for me that doesnt sound like any FE casting I've heard of and I have heard a few.

The numbers are in the centre between the spark plugs and on the same angled locations as if they were FE heads if that helps.

Heads

Sounds like 58 or 59 332/352 or 361 edsel heads. Do they have the machined or as cast combustion chambers?
The early heads had machined combustion chambers and are wanted by some engine builders.
According to my interchange book 5752143 is the casting number for 59--332/352/361 Ford and Edsel
