efficient Modding

I'm trying to coordinate some mods with maintenance for efficiency. Here's the first set:

BTS VB
Transmission fluid change
Tru-cool in line ATF cooler

2nd set:
Leveling kit
Bilstein shocks
Exhaust
Hellwig
(have use of lift for the day)

3rd set:
Turbo upgrade
Foil delete

4th set:
Hutch mod
Upgrade fuel pump

Depending on if you are asking is there anything else you should add, I would suggest new boots and Viton O-rings, and possibly bellowed up-pipes if needed.

I got a 1.0 housing from BTS. I figured I'd do the foil delete while I have the turbo off.

Why bellowed uppipes? Which boots and O-rings?

I would do the fuel mods before the turbo mods.
No amount of big air will do you any good if the fuel cannot keep up.

by fuel mods:
Hutch mod
Walbro pump upgrade
screw in the regulator intake
remove spring in fuel filter

Am I missing any??

I wondered if I should try to do any more with the BTS VB, ATfluid change and tru-cool at the same time?? What ATF is the best, Rotello or Catrol synthetic??

The fuel pump will help maintain pressure to the injectors at WOT better than the stocker will, especially with the turbo upgrade.

While you have the turbo off, I would put Viton o-rings in the turbo pedestal. It may not be leaking now, but it will (just like mine are now). Guzzle has every o-ring you could ever need here: Replacement O-rings for Diesel Engines

I'm not a big fan of running fuel pressure above 60 psi.
What is most important is fuel volume. (Think Holley double pumper) They had dual fuel bowls for a reason, those high HP gas engines they were feeding would inhale fuel very quickly.
So you need to do something like the Walbro pump. You have to be able to keep up with fuel demand.
.
Let me just say this. After modding the fuel supply for my truck it has all the fuel that it can use and then some.
I cannot tow my 13.5k 5th wheel in ANY tune other than stock and I have a 4" downpipe, 5" exhaust, AIS air filter and stock injectors.
The EGT get's too high on a hard pull and the boost goes up over 25 psi just using the tow/haul tune. There is nothing wrong with the truck it is working as designed, no boost leaks, exhaust leaks to kill drive pressure, nada. It simply has PLENTY of fuel volume to keep up with demand!
