My truck is back at Classic Ford this morning. The mechanic (which I like a lot) is going to put a new Pitman Arm Nut on my truck and torque it to 350 lbs he has guaranteed me.
My question is..what if this doesn't tighten up the steering to where it is SAFE and to where it was from th factory, WHAT else could be the problem?? ANything that is new or has been added to the lift kit that could contribute to the "loose" steering.
It scares me a little when I am driving and I definitely am SCARED to let my wife drive it.

After five time to the dealer to diagnose my problem with loose steering, They (the cool engineer) who Ford sent out, actually listened and agreed with me to change the steering box and what a difference. Good Luck!
