There are 2 frame styles on the truck. The cab chassis models had a frame with flat rails. The box trucks have a design which goes up a little in the rear axle area.
Ive seen mint new take off pickup truck boxes sell for between $800-$1200 on a regular basis . It would be even better if the colors are the same and if they had a tailgate and rear bumper.
That's about what I figured the body is on a truck now
The truck is not a cab and chassis it had the pickup bed from the factory
The owner is removing it to install a dump body so I believe it will include the bumper and the tailgate
2002 F350v10 : May I ask what part of the country u r in ???
If the body is in good condition, why not just put it on craigslist and trade it for a pickup body? Surely someone out there needs a utility body.
Ok a little back story
My family business is an excavating contractor with a small gravel bank
The guy we lease the land from owns a rock quarry across the street ...
The truck was bought from the rock quarries plant manager
The truck is a 1999 (early) F250 superduty 7.3 lt powerstroke with a 6 speed a 2wd
Its a utility truck, the nice one with matching countors and body lines, from alabama
I bought the truck for $10,000 with only 44.000 original miles on it
The min I had the title in my hand my father said he wanted the bed
The one on craigslist is local and will be paid for by the business
The only reason I don't keep the utility bed is because I plan on making the truck drag body in the next 5 yrs and the isn't any rear wheel well room with the current bed
