I have a 94 Bronco w/ a 351 and 33" tires. The miles are quite high at about 200,000 but the truck still runs great. Lately I have started to get a grinding noise in the front of the truck. It's not the brakes because I just changed the pads. My thoughts are that the bearings are going bad but I thought I would ask for any ideas first. It's definetly a rotational noise and it sounds like the drivers side only.
If it is the bearings would the front axle need to be taken apart and re-built or can I dissasemble the hubs and replace them myself?

LOL! Mines doing the same thing!!!!!! Let me know what you find. I think it's a bearing also on mine. Is the noise going away after getting up to hwy speeds?
No, it get louder as the truck goes faster. I bought new bearings and seals yesterday. I thought I'd take a shot at replacing them today. I'll let you know if it is the problem or not.
