Water seperating fuel filter?
Does anyone use any sort of water seperating fuel filters on their F-350 pickups? Just curious. I see mine has the stock one but I remember my 05 dodge ram 3500 had a water seperator on it.

The stock system works fine as long as you use Racor made (OEM manker of Motorcraft and Int'l filters for the 6.0L).
The HFCM filter is a filter and water seperator in one desgn and works great when changed every 15,000 miles and an OEM spec'd filter is used.
Do not use "will-fit" filters from NAPA or other places... they fit, but are not OEM spec'd and do not have the same filter/water seperation media as the Racor filter is.
I buy mine at my local Int'l truck dealer and they are only $35.00/kit versus $60 -$70 at your Ford dealer.
