c6 trans

i got a 400 can you tell me if the trans will go on a 302 or do i have to get a trans for a 302

The 302 and 400 have different bellhousing patterns. The 400/351M share the same pattern with the 429/460. The 302 shares the same pattern with the 351W and and 351C.

no you'll need a c4 trans

Well a c-4 takes less power, but a small pattern c-6 302,,,351w,,,351c will work. unsure how the 6 cylinders mate up
