Fast Blinkers
After wiring up my trailer lights today i noticed that the blinkers are blinking very fast have i missed something?

Change your blinker for a "HEAVY DUTY" unit. Your current blinker is only rated for 2 bulbs. When you hook the trailer up, the bi-metal lead in the blinker housing heats up too fast and short cycles. The blinker # you more than likely have is a 502. The one you need is a #553. The 553 is rated for 4 bulbs. the 553 is the same one used for hazard flashers.
