There are charactors that are incorrect, recheck the number and post back.

the "A18343" should match the sequencial number of the actual vin in the windshield, or on the safety certifcation lable.
Am I glad I bought this as a donor - something is fishy with the numbers. Check the tag on the frame in the pic...

Yep, the welded tag on the side. The numbers are similarly nonsensical - S (or 5 or 8, it's not at all clear) ABTURO3635199909. Will be glad when I am done with the frame, it's cut up and weighed in lol.

The weather cleared enough today to take a quick look at the frame rail. I removed the charcoal canister to scrape the bed liner off the frame. I scraped to bare metal, but didnt find anything. Would it be under or in front of the core support? Someone has had everything off the frame, since the entire frame has been coated in bed liner.

Hmmm.... It should be right along there either in front or back, or under the radiator support.

Try the one under the cab if you can't find that one. You will need a mirror.

And they are stamped on very lightly sometimes. Easily sanded off.

When I had my support out, changing my radiator to Super Cooling, mine was located right next to the support bracket.

I have no idea what that welded tag is. Seems very fishy, unless it was put there when it was imported.

Numberdummy might help.

I'm gonna have to wait til it dries up around here before i can get a look under the cab. I'm hoping they didnt sand blast or sand the frame before they shot it with bed liner.
