Generally you can tell by looking to see if there is a Ford installed aux transmission cooler installed, a 3 or 4 row radiator and taller gears in the rear diff, one of the larger engine options avaiable for that vehical, things like that. You may want to do a little research and see if Ford even offered a tow package for those two door Exploders. 
Regardless, look at the sticker on the driver’s side door jamb, it should list your max GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) as well as the max GCVWR (gross combined vehicle weight rating). Subtract the GVWR from the GCVWR and that should give you a rough idea of how much you can tow.
