Check Gas Cap
A week ago my wife's (who's a school teacher) 03 explorer was assaulted by an ****** school kid who put sugar in the gas tank. Luckily I found it before it made it to the engine. After tearing out the tank and filler hoses and cleaning them all out I'm getting the "check gas cap" light and the "service engine soon" light. I know one causes the other but what sensor am I looking for for the gas cap?

there is a electrical connector on the gas tank ,that connects to a pressure transducer and senses the pressure.a loose hose ,wrong gas cap ,bad electric connection will set this off.these truck must use oem gas caps.
