1996 tow rating
Hi guys,
I've been away for a long time, sorry. I am looking to buy a 1996 F350, CC, 2WD, DRW, 7.3L, 5SPD. Does anyone where i can find the tow rating for this truck? Trailer life website stops at the 1999 model year. I searched this forum, but nothing came up.

I may be mistaken but can't you just subtract the gvwr (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) from the gcvwr (Gross Combination Vehicle Weight Rating)?
These numbers (on my truck anyway) are found on the drivers door stickers.
Or maybe ask at a dealer?

Thank you, I'll go look at it again. The dealer was no help. On a separate note, I found another truck, same as the first one mentioned but with a 460/auto. How does a 1995 460 compare to the a 1996 7.3L PSD when pulling? What kind of mileage could I expect towing a 10K lb. fiver with a 460/auto combo?
(I know how a 2001 F350 4x4 CC LB SRW 7.3L PSD/auto would tow our fiver. It was great. Unfortunately, we had to sell the truck for financial reasons. Now back on our feet, so to speak, we are looking to replace it. Only this time we'll pay cash for it, no more payments ...)
