My main concern is for the long run and knowing what to EVER ask (for the year of the engine) to get the right part.
We have it torn apart. Looking to get - as far as I know right now - starter, alternator, fuel pump, maybe a distrubutor (it has an MSD without a cap right now), and probably crank bearings and rings. The heads are in a shop being rebuilt.
I guess what I'm curious about is basically how much different is the engine over the years, or can you take a swag for sometime in the late '60s and be okay.
