I was a bit nervous with all of the sensory voodoo of this brake controller. What a great, smooth , operation. Thanks for the recomendation. By the way I did get it at that web site with the free shipping. No hassle.

http://www.brakecontroller.com/ The way this thing applies the juice to the trailer is unbelievably smooth . It senses load via momemtum and applies the correct amount of voltage to the brakes for that situation. This is no means a technical briefing but just my simple interpretation.
The Prodigy is simple to set up and once you do, you never have to think about it again.
It works so well, I can't believe I put up with the old style hydraulic/electric controllers for so long!
I switched to the Prodigy last year, after reading so many enthusiastic reviews about it in this forum.

Same effect. The harder you stop, the more trailer brakes you have. BUT, no need to hook anything into your hyd brake lines! Very slick.
