DCSpecial, I remember you posting up on this install several weeks ago and if I remember correctly your traction bars are either 84" or 86" (oversized) in length. What is the minimum length recommended for the Super Duties (regular cab)? Are there any issues with short length traction bars?

80" since I have a long bed. Custom made to order.
Normally a long bed would use their adaptable length bars which go up to 82" in length.
A Short Bed or Excursion can run their 64" bars....or run the adaptable bars at whatever length they want.
The engineering behind the design works quite well which is why their bars don't bind and are very effective at controlling axle wrap.
yea it makes sence that the front mount can move in and out with the spring arc....I may hafta mod mine to work like ur do....although the rear mount will change as well
One of the issues with Farmboy's bars (IMO) is that the heims (stage 1) or flex joints (stage 2) don't allow for any movement to compensate for differing arcs of travel. Heims are solid and Flex joints offer very little movement.
