Conversion to 4WD
Hello All. Have a 1996 2WD F-150 5_spd six. Want to convert to 4WD. I have a 1989 4WD. Both Manuals, reg cabs, same gearing, same tire size, both xl, both rear abs. Other than couping with different type of speedo signal, is the swap difficult (ps 89 is a 302)

you don't have to mess with the speedo signal since you can use the same rear which is where your 96 gets the signal just get some wire cutters and cut the speedo cable off and leave it in the trans/transfer case as a plug
