The HPOP is the High Pressure Oil Pump, it supplies the injectors with the high pressure engine oil needed to push the fuel into each cylinder, the SD HPOPs (17*) supply more oil than the OBS HPOP (15*). If you have tunes or other mods that increase fuel chances are that the 15* HPOP cannot keep up.
