Hey guys, im just chiming in out of the blue, but i've seen a lot of really great looking trucks on this site in threads such as "Post your Truck Here!" and "Look at this one i found!" I figured id start a thread for pictures of old junk yard trucks that are torn to crap. i admire the nice trucks but its a crying shame sometimes to see a potentially good truck junked. so post um up here!
i wish i had pictures... but around mid fall of last year, i was driving down to arlington... and ended up behind a flat bed truck with a truck on the back... and a trailer being towed behind it... there was a 70s f150 or f250 on the trailer... but i didnt see the slick until the guy turned the corner... there was a slick sitting on the flat bed... its probably the same one i ended up finding in pull-a-part around the same time... it actually doesnt look that bad... probably once belonged to some farmer in the local area... he bought it used it on the farm for a few years, and then out came the new body style and he bought that one, and left the slick in the back of the barn... and either some one resently bought the farm or it was foreclosed on, and didnt have any need or want for the truck.. so there it sits in Arlington washington waiting for me to pull parts off of it....
I agree; but the real sad thing is if you try and buy those trucks from p/o's they expect and arm & a leg for them; but then sell for scrap at penny's on the dollar later.
found a 65 f-250 in the local pick n pull once, same day there was a 62 styleside. the 62 was completely gutted and the 65 had most of it's engine still. i went back a couple days later to pull the engine and they were both gone... sad...
but the local one always has '70s trucks sitting in it usually with good parts. not to be racist or anything, but in phoenix there's a lot of mexicans who drive them and when they get in an accident they just go to the yard.
again not to be racist, not all of them, but a good amount of them work in landscaping or construction, jobs of that nature, and the trucks don't really get taken care of. But they're just work trucks for them, so why take care of them, but it is kinda sad...

The hell you say!
At least NOW I know what to do with my truck if I ever get into an accident. I thought I would fix the damage and keep it on the road. I did not know I (Mexican) had so much money that I could just go out and by another truck.
VIVA FORD!!! Not to be racist or anything.
Good thing you did'nt stereotype us then I'd be driving a Chebby.
well, no, I didn't mean it quite like that! I mean that most of the ones in there were in pretty bad wrecks! I was trying to be as politically correct to not **** people off... but I tend to do that in general.
I mean hey! I'm a half german half wop! I hear all the racist comments too! add on top of that I'm a descendant of kaiser wilhelm, so people tend to uh, not be too nice about that? lol.
And I work in construction myself! I work with a lot of mexicans, legal and illegal, and a lot of them are the nicest people I've ever met, and some of them are real douches! God I have my foot so far in my mouth it's coming out my ***!

Hey it's all good. No offense taken, just adding humor to something that can go wrong, and hopefully won't. So to everyone out there who is an other, he's been spanked...
Kinda makes it hard to tie your boots, huh?

I hope you don't have a withered left hand like 'ol Kaiser Wilhelm II had.
He wore a glove to hide it.
How many ppl today have even heard of Der Kaiser I or II?
Most have never even heard of the Kaiser automobiles, built by Henry J from 1947 thru 1955 in (mostly) the Willow Run MI plant where Ford assembled B-24 bombers during WWII.
btw: You have one hour to edit your posts...so you don't have to type new ones everytime you have additional comments.
